Events such as the former Ottawa Mini Maker Faire, Pecha Kucha Ottawa and Nuit Blanche Ottawa were once the high water marks of showcasing the “everyday” creativity and ingenuity in our community. We believe the time for celebrating grassroots creativity is long overdue and that is why we are introducing FAB Fest this Fall at the Rideau Community Hub (formerly Rideau High School).

“Festival Awakening Brilliance” or for short “FAB Fest” is a fusion of these former events celebrating expressions of creativity in all of its forms. The festival will be hosted at the former Rideau High School and feature a maker community show & tell, community-engaged arts, talks, DIY workshops and much more.
